"The Dark Side of the Moon" describes the experience of the modern young man being faced with adulthood. In this novel, the young man is confronted by demons and misdoings of him and his family's past, leading to further confusion, disappointment, and a newfound longing for something unidentifiable in his life.
Each chapter uses a song that helps explain a certain theme of the chapter and/or this certain period of his life. The book does not follow a strict timeline, but each moment or theme faces him fluidly. In the end, he realizes how he must restructure his life in order for him to truly live prosperously. What defines the experience of the modern young man? How can young men face confusion, love, and emptiness now and in the future?
